Editorial Policy

How we research, write, review, update, and correct the technology stories published on Currentech.

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Our goal is simple: provide technology information that is clear, useful, relevant, and presented with appropriate context. We aim to distinguish factual reporting from analysis and opinion, and we correct significant errors when they are identified.

1. About Our Editorial Approach

Currentech covers developments across technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, gadgets, software, hardware, and emerging technologies.

We aim to explain not only what happened, but also why a development matters and what readers should understand from it.

Because technology changes rapidly, some information may become outdated after publication. When appropriate, we update articles to reflect significant changes.

2. Our Editorial Principles

01

Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to verify factual information before publishing.

02

Clarity

We aim to explain technical subjects in language that readers can understand.

03

Relevance

We focus on developments that have meaningful technological or practical significance.

04

Transparency

We aim to distinguish reporting, analysis, opinion, and promotional material.

3. Sources and Research

Depending on the subject, our research may involve information from official company announcements, product documentation, government or regulatory sources, research papers, technical documentation, interviews, reputable news organizations, and other publicly available sources.

When an article relies substantially on information from an external source, we aim to provide appropriate attribution or a link to the relevant source where practical and appropriate.

Readers should distinguish between information originating from a primary source and Currentech's own analysis or interpretation.

4. Verification and Fact-Checking

We make reasonable efforts to verify important factual claims before publication. The level of verification may vary depending on the nature of the story, how quickly information is developing, and the availability of reliable primary sources.

Breaking technology news may initially contain incomplete information. When material facts change or become clearer, we may update the relevant article.

We do not guarantee that every article will be completely free from factual or typographical errors.

5. Breaking News and Developing Stories

Some technology stories develop rapidly. Early reports may rely on limited information, preliminary statements, or reports that have not yet been independently confirmed.

When information is uncertain or developing, we aim to communicate that uncertainty rather than present speculation as established fact.

Articles may subsequently be updated as additional information becomes available.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools

Technology and artificial intelligence tools may be used as part of research, drafting, editing, analysis, or other aspects of the publishing workflow where appropriate.

The use of an automated tool does not replace editorial responsibility. Information generated or assisted by such tools should be reviewed for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and context before publication.

We do not treat AI-generated output as inherently accurate simply because it was produced by an AI system.

7. Opinions and Analysis

Currentech may publish analysis, commentary, comparisons, and opinions in addition to factual reporting.

Where an article contains analysis or opinion, readers should understand that interpretations and conclusions may differ from those of other publications, companies, or individuals.

Opinions expressed in an article should not automatically be interpreted as statements made by companies or organizations discussed in that article.

8. Product Coverage and Reviews

Currentech may cover technology products, software, services, applications, and devices.

Our coverage does not guarantee that a product will be suitable for every reader. Readers should consider their own requirements and verify current specifications, pricing, availability, and compatibility before making purchasing decisions.

9. Sponsored and Promotional Content

Currentech does not currently represent that its editorial content is sponsored by companies simply because a company, product, or service is mentioned in an article.

If sponsored content, paid placements, or other promotional relationships are introduced, such content will be appropriately identified where required by applicable law or relevant platform requirements.

10. Affiliate Relationships

Currentech may use affiliate links in the future. Where applicable, affiliate relationships will be disclosed in accordance with relevant requirements.

An affiliate relationship does not automatically determine the editorial assessment of a product or service.

11. Corrections and Updates

We take factual accuracy seriously. If a significant error is identified in an article, we may correct the article and, where appropriate, explain the correction.

Minor spelling, formatting, grammar, or stylistic changes may be made without a separate correction notice.

Major updates may also be incorporated into an article when new information materially changes the original story.

12. Reporting an Error

If you believe that an article contains a factual error, misleading statement, outdated information, or another significant issue, please contact us.

When reporting an error, please provide the article title, the relevant information, and, where possible, a reliable source supporting the correction.

13. Independence

Editorial decisions are intended to be based on the relevance and informational value of a story rather than the interests of a company, advertiser, product manufacturer, or other third party.

A company's presence in an article does not by itself mean that the company has influenced the editorial content.

14. Copyright and Attribution

We aim to respect copyright and intellectual property rights. When using information, quotations, images, or other material belonging to third parties, we aim to use such material appropriately and provide attribution where required or appropriate.

If you believe that material published on Currentech infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us with sufficient information for us to review the matter.

15. Changes to This Editorial Policy

We may update this Editorial Policy as Currentech grows, changes its editorial processes, introduces new types of content, or changes how articles are researched and published.

Any updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
